Most large DIY stores will make simple cuts for you, and sell half sheets of plywood. Decide how wide and long you need the ramp and use two layers of plywood. They would also cut a length of 2x4 or larger lumber to short lengths for you, to use as the corner, side and cross supports. Or you could use gravel and/or pavers to establish a slope that may or may not need a plywood top.
Hello Freida,
It could be done in Concrete or Timber or be bought in Metal. Before tackling the job yourself, call in a few Professionals to give you a price to build or supply one for you!
You can get ramps, they will hold the lawn mower.
I agree, just buy ramps that are used for driving lawn mowers onto pickup trucks. Wood won't work if your tires get wet mowing the grass, they will slip and this is dangerous. Gravel will wear away and filling in the tire tracks will be difficult and also dangerous.
