Hi, Susana! The layer of veneer can be removed using a small putty knife, preferably metal and not plastic (because they are thinner). Is the veneer being removed because it is already damaged? If the veneer is peeling and separating, the putty knife can be used to pry up the layers. If it is not damaged, it may take a little more work to remove it but it can still be done. It's probably best to start at the edge and sort of chip away at it until the layers start to peel away. Does that make sense? I hope this helps!
Thank you for the help. Here’s a before of this beautiful piece. Hopefully I will do a good job at removing the veneer on top that is damaged.
Hi! As others have mentioned carefully using a putty knife works great.
