How can I make a simple smoker with leftover plywood?
I want to pipe smoke from a bbq grill into a box. I have a few pieces of plywood that are about a half sheet each and a bunch of oven racks. How can I build a box that will hold my racks.

Hi, MyHOMEER!
I have to be honest, I had my doubts about a smoker built using plywood but after doing a search, I found the article that may be of interest: https://www.barbecue-smoker-recipes.com/build-your-own-smoker.html I hope this helps!
You don't want to provide excessive heat directly to plywood near food as it is full of adhesives and chemicals. Check out this youtube. You can adapt it to fit your needs.

Smokers are made of metal. Plywood won't cut it. The smoke is created in the oven part and the smoke flavors the contents as the food cooks. You can't just "blow smoke" over the food. It is contained in what is like your kitchen oven.
I agree, this is not the use for your scrap plywood.
I ended up buying a Big Chief Smoker.
