Start with a round table top. Attach the tile with silicone caulk and use the same caulk with grout. best of luck making the curved cuts.

You can use the tiles as they are or you can break them up to make a mosaic. You could also use as many whole tiles as you can (because its a round table) and then break some up and fill in mosaic around the square tiles to make the circle.
Cut a circle, the size you want, from plywood and then cover with cement/concrete board used for tile....cut the cement board to match the plywood circle... apply the tile to the table top, if using square tiles and not mosaic pieces... leave whole... use a grinder with a cutting disc to cut the circle..for best results cut with the tile resting on the ground... such as a garage floor or driveway...... WEAR eye protection, gloves and long pants and sleeves....NO shorts and no flip flops.... SAFETY FIRST.... AND if you do not know how to use a grinder... find some one who DOES....
