Buy a swifter they work good on hardwood
I use a Spin Mop and either Zep hardwood floor cleaner from Home Depot or Bona floor cleaner. I wasted money on a Bissel Pet Pro and for anything other than a quick touch up I use the Spin Mop. THAT was worth the money.
I do know you are only supposed to use water to clean wood floors. I use a shark steamer mop and that seems to do really well. If my floor has looked dry I sometimes wash it with some Murphy's Oil Soap and that is safe for wood and I use it on my cabinets in my kitchen. Have u tried plain water with a little vinegar?? All the professionals recommend this way!!
I've been using this for about 20 years and my floors always look like new, no issues. ½ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tsp blue Dawn
2 gallons warm tap water
