Baking soda and vinegar work real well. In the bathroom drains you need to use a zip it tool first (long slender plastic with barbs on it and it is real cheap) to remove all the hair you can from the drain. Follow that with a half cup of baking soda, then at least a cup of vinegar. Let it foam and fizz for at least fifteen minutes or until it stops, sometimes I put another glug of vinegar for good measure to have it do its work more. Once that is done, put down about a gallon of boiling water down the drain to wash away all the loosened gunk. It works well for me, hopefully it will work for you!

The very first non-chemical thing we do is see if there is any hair or objects stuck in the drain, use a flashlight, if just hair, then take a drain clog remover and pull it out, Or if an object, get some grabbers and extract it if possible, if it won't budge, you may have to remove the trap under the sink.

We start with the baking soda and vinegar, when the bs fizzes it is the mild abrasive action that helps to clear the gunk out. Rinse with a good amount of hot water.
