Do you have a recommendation for a quality affordable paint sprayer?

The less expensive ones would be slower than a roller.

Eileen....We used a roller on ours and a brush on the grooves. We also primed first which helped soooo much to cover well then painted. Good luck!

My husband originally had a Wagner which is very affordable. However, he definitely had to work with it so it didn't spit thicker drips. Some of the cheaper ones will do this unfortunately. My husband did end up getting a more expensive sprayer and since we have used it for years...it is SOOO worth it! It goes on like butter. ha.... He bought an EARLEX:
