How can I make curtains?

Unless your curtains are 100% cotton it will be hard to dye them and get an even dye job. Synthetic materials do not take dye well.

  Most helpful reply. Was hoping to dye the curtains as it would save me a fortune bringing them up a bit modern. Just hoping to update the caravan, flowers chintz not me. But in their time the curtains were fashionable and expensive.

  Thanks Nan,for your fast reply, really very helpful, it was caravan curtains and swags. Expensive then in their day and brilliant order but flowers chintz type. Not me Nan. was hoping to dye them a plain colour to save expenses as caravan windows are very large.
