What is the best way to clean a sisal rug to remove stains from it?
I would use water and soap but I don´t know wheter sisal rugs shrink with water. Some stains are from spilling drinks, some others were produced by pets.

Try Neture's Miracle from Pet Stores. It is an enzyme that is very effective on this.
I have ferrets, they don't always make it to the poop pad. I use Resolve then use a string mop and a bucket of hot water with clorox. Wring out mop as best you can and mop carpet just like it was floor. I just did mine and it is beautiful, well not really I have beige carpet that I can't stand but it is clean.
I swear by a product called My Pet Peed (google to find it). It works wonderfully on urine, vomit, or even food stains, simply spray on, wait, and the stain disappears along with odor. Best stuff on the market!
Vinegar works really well on the odor, spray it on the area, if carpet, make sure it gets all the way down. Once it dries and you don't smell the vinegar, give it the sniff test to make sure you covered the needed areas.
