TSP=trisodium phosphate cleaner. It works well but it's hard on your hands if you don't wear rubber gloves! It may remove some of the old poly/varnish finish on your cabinet as well because you have an old cabinet covered in years of grime. TSP is a deglosser to prepare for painting and will mar any finish. I use lemon ammonia or Dollar Tree Awesome Degreaser and/or the Awesome Orange on all my clients cupboards. Get some of those round plastic scrubbies to get the hard bits off and some rubber kitchen gloves to protect your hands.
I use a mixture of hot water, dawn, a little baking soda, then some orange oil
Add a bit of ammonia to the cleaner it will work Murphy’s oil soap works well with a 1/4 cup ammonia
