Cheaper to buy peg board. Have never heard on anyone trying to make it.

You can buy pegboard and the hooks and baskets that will fit into the holes at any local home improvement store. You can buy different sizes-4x4 or 4x8 should be available.

Thank you, GT. I’m trying to figure out a way to not use any money (don’t have any) and just use the everyday stuff people have in their shed or junk drawer or garage. There are so many creative people on here, hopefully some of them can think of something. I made a bulletin board out of wine corks I collected here and there and a borrowed hot glue gun. That’s the sort of idea I need.

Check out your local Salvation Army and Goodwill stores as well as any places that sell second hand goods. You can get a good deal, recycle something instead of throwing it away and help someone in need all at the same time. If you find a piece second hand that looks bad color wise just use some old paint and give it a new lease on life. I touched up a old wooden curtain rod and frame for a mirror with some black spray paint (Walmart 99 cents a can). They look like new now. Sometimes it just takes some imagination and a little work.
