My husband left a can of cooking spray on the counter and it left a grease ring on my new granite counter top that was recently installed.
If stains do happen, remove them with a commercial poultice or with a baking soda and water paste. Spread a thick layer of the paste over the stain, cover with plastic wrap, wait a day or two, and then wipe clean.
Thank you Chloe - had heard that quartzite/ quartz are more stain resistant than granite... but I find the coffee stains take more time to remove - and I was looking also for personal experiences with quartz/quartzite.... The apartment ashamedly has quartz counters in the kitchen, but leaves coffee stains, which baking soda does not remove......
