How do I fix this sloppy transition in my siding?
Brand new siding installed and they could not figure out a more appealing transition. Any suggestions to disguise this?

Don't know when the job was done but they used the wrong type of corner. Call them back and have them do it right.

The spacing seems to be pretty far apart between the 2 pieces. I would have them come back and fix it with pieces that are longer and go from top to bottom instead of a gap like that.
They look like they are too far apart to caulk together.
Those are not corner pieces for siding. Supposed to be one solid corner and siding butts into it. It's even worse on bay windows. Allows for bugs, dirt, rain, and snow to get behind there and rot it out over time. You need to get them back and do it properly. It may even need to be all removed and totally redone. A real siding guy would be shocked at first, then bust out laughing. Sorry and good luck.
It looks like they used J channel instead of corner trim. Make them fix it!!!
I figured out what they use. Snap on corner guards not J channel.

Sorry, but this is not a "professional" installation. How did you find this company? Listen to William and either get them out to fix it or hire professional installers to fix all their mistakes. What is your warranty or guarantee? I hate to see people being taken advantage of by taking your hard earned money and not providing quality product. My best guess is this is not their only mistake, I would question the entire installation.
For future reference, here is how to hire any contractor you will ever need.
