If you haven’t done so make sure you prime first. Using primer in a spray can works best. Additionally, there’s paint made just for painting on glass. They are very inexpensive.

Sheila...l use food coloring..Elmer's glue & a sponge brush..lt will appear streaked to begin but mine dries and looks great! Good luck!
