Depends on the stain. You can use straight blue Dawn for grease based.

Not sure if you are in Canada but there’s a store called bulkbarn and they carry a good stain remover it works really well you add water to it scrub it on your clothes rinse repeat then put it in your washing machine
Here's a 2-fold answer,
First treat the stain with blue dawn dishsoap, then launder as usual. For the final rinse add 1/2 cup white vinegar.
