How can I clean a stove range hood?
I have cleaned my gunky filters, and inside my greasy hood, now my stanthony(1960) copper looking outer hood needs some sprucing up. Tried dawn and hot water, krud kudder soaking on paper towels. Any ideas? Thanks!

The hood itself or the filter?
Hi Cathy, a good spray degreaser product will work wonders. It's a messy job! Here's a youtube video. If you fast forward to about 1:35 into the video, there's instructions about the underside of the range hood. The previous portion is about how to clean the filters which you've already done.

Use ketchup for copper. Slather ketchup on the hood and let it sit for a while. wipe and rinse off. Repeat if needed.
