I only use the store bought cleaner (from Weiman) made just for that because it does a great job but you can make your own with a tutorial like this https://www.hometalk.com/diy/clean/ovens/how-to-clean-your-glass-cooktop-1322161
How to Clean Your Glass Cooktop!
Hi Camille, this is how I do it...works like a charm. https://www.exquisitelyunremarkable.com/2017/04/the-best-way-to-clean-glass-stove-top.html
Hello Camille! When I have burnt on food on my glass cooktop, I wait for it to cool completely and then take wet dishrag soaked with warm soapy dish soap water and I lay in on top of the burnt on food to soften it up. Usually once the food is softened from the moisture you can wipe most of it off. I have used a razor blade to carefully scrape away any tough spots and then cleaned with Weiman Cooktop products. Here's a bit of info for you!

Hi Scarlet, I purchased a razor blade just for my stove top. After letting a paste of baking soda and water sit on the stove for at least an hour, I clean it up with hot water and then very carefully use the blade on the worst places. It works great!
Hi ! First use some very hot tap water to soak a rag in it , add a few drops of dawn dish detergent and lightly wring out excess water , then let the wet rag lay on top of the cooked on food for 15-20 minute . Then using a plastic pot scraper or plastic spatula scrape up any loosened food . I use a stovetop cleaner made by Weisman , I buy it at the supermarket , it works very well . Good luck !!!
Magic eraser also works well
Camille: I like the combo of Cerama Bright and then follow with Magic Eraser

I use this for mine white cleaning vinegar, for a non toxic way. If not buy stove top cleaner.
Try sprinking on some baking soda and spritz it with water. Let it sit for 30 minutes and that should help the cooked on gunk get wiped away.
Baking soda!
Slowly, carefully scrape with a razor blade. Once you get the chunks off, you can use your normal cleaner.
The brand of cleaner that Tinyshoes was referring to is Weiman, not Wiseman.
