I made one just like the second picture above. So easy we did in one day. Cut plywood to size you want. Decide were you want your tufts and drill holes. Then lay your fabric down, put batting or foam on top of that and then your plywood. Staple your fabric all the way around. Then coming through the back with needle and thread attach your buttons and knot on the back side. When you pull them down to knot you will get a nice tuft.
