You can purchase antislip traction tape. It can be used outside. It comes in different widths and you can cut the lengths to fit your situation. It is available on Amazon but perhaps you can find it at a local hardware store or big box store like Menards, etc.Here's what I found on Amazon: Anti Slip Traction Tape, 6" × 30 Feet, Longer and Wider, 80 Grit, Best Grip and Friction, Safe, Tread Step, Strong Abrasive Adhesive for Stairs, Indoor, Outdoor, Black
Hardware stores sell black sandpaper like strips that you can attach to stairs threads or a ramp that are very helpful. We place them for elderly dog to go down the stairs and it helped a lot.
