Hi Anita! This is a DIY site where people do their own projects. If you want to hire someone, flip through the yellow pages of the phone book, Google for painters in your area, check out sites like Home Advisor and others. If you are on Nextdoor.com, hop on and ask neighbors for referrals.

Oddly enough, I still use the phone book. I find the mom and pop shops that are either technically challenged or just don't have the time to continually check the computer and work at the same time. Most are far less expensive than the slick larger operations.
Hi Anita,
I'd recommend looking in your local paper - especially the ones like a pennysaver or shoppers news that is free and filled with local ads. Another option is a website called homeadvisor.com . They can connect you to someone in your area who has a painting business. Another option is someplace like nextdoor.com . Next Door is broken down into zip codes so members are all from the same area. There is no charge for becoming a member, but you can ask there if one of your neighbors (who you might not know) can recommend someone to paint your furniture. I hope this helps. Wishing you the best.
we can't give you prices for projects you need to have done we give info and ideas for projects but we don't have a list of folks who do the work ~ go to angieslist.com and look for someone who paints or restores furniture on there for your area. It may end up costing more than you paid for the furniture in the long run though.
I have used auto painters shops to get large sets of furniture painted, but you would need to clean it first and probably deliver it to them if they don't do pickup.
Thank you all for taking the time to answer me xxx
