How do I make a wooden table top for my old glass patio dining table?
Saw it on Hometalk a few weeks back but lost it. Someone made the top of the table to fit right over their glass table complete with the hole in the center for the market umbrella. They painted the metal black. Would love to show this to my husband. Thank you.

They laid boards the length and width of table, glued and clamped together and attached a frame around it. It basically was made to fit over the existing frame. Make sure you use exterior rated glue, nails and wood.
