Stray cats lay and spray my outdoor furniture how do i keep them off my patio and furniture?
I would buy CDX 3/4” exterior grade plywood, maybe 5/8” if the spans are short.
I’d create a template from cardboard and play with the shape and how much it overhangs the frame.
I’d plan on how to attach tie-on chair cushions- maybe drill holes in the back of the new seat pan
Then I’d cut the plywood, drill the holes, sand the edges, Prime & paint two full coats of exterior paint.
Then from the bottom, with coated or stainless deck screws, screw through the holes in the frames into the plywood seat pan. Use matching washers if needed.
The color of paint I’d choose would be complimentary to the new seat cushions.
This time of year in the US, all patio chair cushions are on Clearance.
I would not leave the cushions on in the rain.
I would make a template from cardboard, then cut the plywood. I would get some thick outdoor foam, and purchase outdoor fabric and staple that to the plywood.
Hi Sheila, trace the inside shape of the seat then cut plywood to fit, you can use foam and outdoor material to make them, hope this helps
