Hi Michelle. I fixed mine with JB Weld two part epoxy along both sides of the cut. Holding until it sets for 5 minutes feels like hours! After the 5 minutes, apply a piece of electrical or duct tape to keep it in place as it cures the required 48-72 hours. It's been a little over a year now. Still holding😊
Even just wrapping some electrical tape around it might work.

Flex Seal might do the trick.
I purchased waterproof tape from Lowe's, the brand is Gorilla. I wrapped it around my rubber hose last year, and it is still keep the hole covered
