Partition Screens Room Dividers
Sometimes you can do it simply with furniture arrangements. I am a proponent of the "separate" rooms style which is lucky as we have many different rooms. You could use low shallow things like bookcases, china cabinets, pony walls etc.
I've seen it done with lattice. Looked good to me and seemed simple and relatively inexpensive to make. Frame the lattice, don't know what you call them, but you insert these things at the top, they are spring loaded for it to be stable. Another plus, is that it allows light in. But, everyone has their own taste.
