Remove as much as possible with a snake or drain cleaning tool. Pour ½ cup baking soda then ½ cup white vinegar in the drain and cover, letting sit for 20 minutes. Boil water, remove cover, and pour water down the drain. You may have to repeat the process.
the "P" trap under the sinks needs to be disconnected and drained, some times commercial products are needed.
Pour 2 cups of baking soda in sink drain, followed by 2 cups white distilled vinegar.
Let set 45 minutes. Follow by carefully pouring a large kettle of boiling water into the drain. Repeat if needed.
Sink drains should never be used for fats/grease, coffee grounds, or bread, which swells and blocks drain.
Every month, do the baking soda and vinegar routine, or pour Dawn detergent in drain, which should break up grease. Follow with a large amount of hot water.
