Measure the size of metal you require allowing it to be bent over existing table top, or if you prefer, just the size of table top (In which case you would need a trim all around to cover the raw edge. Look for a strong adhesive you can use with metal (the large DIY's should be able to point you in the right direction) You could use upholstery Pins if you wished to give a studded edge.
