What tools do I use to paint fabric?

What kind and brand paint can I use to paint fabric. This fabric is attached to the back rest of dinning chairs and can't b removed. I need to use a small brush.

Most craft stores sell paint specifically made for fabric. Walmart sells it also.
A lot of people use watered down chalk paint and sand between each coat after it dries.
