Hi you can try using gorilla tape !
Just thought of this one. Though it’s kind of out there it should work well. Buy a mouse trap with the sticky stuff and cut out a piece the size you need and apply it. The glue is super sticky...you can’t even get it off when you want to. They are also very inexpensive.
Get clear wide shipping tape and put over the whole that will work
