Ceramic or vinyl?
Flooring is best cleaned weekly to avoid more stringent measures. I use a Swifter type system.
If you’re talking about stained or built-up residue in ceramic tile grout, then it’s time to bend a toothbrush (like pic), and break down the stain do it can be removed and rinsed.
Lots of people like vinegar, but it can’t cut grease.
I would use a clear detergent and spot clean for grease.
For stains, like red wine, I would use peroxide first and if that doesn’t help, then rinse that and make a paste from oxygenated bleach (oxyclean).
Rinse, mop up, rinse, mop-up and again.
cleaning chemicals residue will attract & hold new stains.
