Unclog a Toilet Without a Plunger
Buy a $6 snake that chucks into a cordless drill. You can use it for the next 40 years on any drain.
We have used the method with the dish soap and hot water and it works like a charm. The trick is to let the dish soap sit in there a bit before adding the hot water.
If plunging doesn't work, try a green gobbler product. They make one for septic systems that always helps to get rid of clogs. I use it once a month but when I first used, it took care of an issue with the toilet backing up.
