You can try Garters...the kind people use to hold their stockings up...something similar is sold in some stores in the Bedding Department.
Hi Paula,
The top sheet is the one that is over the fitted bottom sheet., to keep that in place, just tuck it into the area between the springs and the mattress at the foot of the bed.
If you are talking about the bottom sheet, the one that covers the mattress, then you can do it yourself with strips of elastic, at least 3/4" to 1" wide. measure and sew it into place on a diagonal from the corner, do this to each corner. The fitted sheet usually comes loose from worn out elastic, the sheet is in good condition, but has lost it's elasticity and pulls off the mattress with little effort.
You can also buy these pre-made at Bed, Bath, and Beyond...also at Amazon.
Hello. Sometimes it takes adding an accessory like fitted sheet suspenders or replacing your elastic to make it tighter.
Mattress have gotten very tall over the years and generous deep pocket sheets seem to be more common than the fitted sheets of years ago.
Alternatively another option would be to sew more elastic on your sheets to alter to make a tighter fit. Heres some helpful links that might give you more ideas and details. I hope this helps.
