Will antiquing wax work over acrylic paint?

I don't see why it wouldn't work but just to be on the safe side, try it on an inconspicuous spot first! I hope this helps!
If you are talking about using a wax made for chalk paint then I think it would work. However, use a clear wax first before you add the darker wax. You can then use the clear wax to remove any excess dark. Use the dark wax sparingly.
Hi Dusty, I think you can easily antique this without any issues.
I don't see why not. Your just putting a protective finish coat over a painted surface.

Yes Briwax or even MinWax will work well. I personally like Briwax
