Plaid has a whole page on glass paint products I would look there or call their support line. They are very educational and helpful
The plaid colors are premixed.
In my case I painted a white background first then the blue flower on top. It’s have a nice clean background ( rear view) as well as support the flower true color and prevent streaky look. I painted My in waves painting one single color at a time which allowed the paint to dry and cure -this system work very well for me

If you are painting glass for glass flowers you can just use exterior spray paint. Nothing is truly permanent on glass since it just sits on top and can't soak in. It will last thru 2 seasons. After that you may need to repaint. Good luck.
Just an fyi. I usually hit up flea markets and yard sales to buy already colored glass for outdoor flower designs.
Most hobby stores sell stained glass paint. For extra insurance if you are putting them outside, cover with two coats of polyurethane spray.
