How can I recycle fabric scraps?
I have tons of nice fabric samples and scarps that I just can't bring myself to throw away. I know I won't be doing much with them myself and would prefer to give them away to someone/some place that does crafting and projects. Any ideas? Happy to ship at own expense as well.

Use for some craft projects. You can also make pillows with different kinds of fabrics.
How much the fabric weigh, any picture if possible? Good luck
Consider donating the scraps to the Goodwill or Salvation Army. There are a lot of people that will put these to good use. You could also donate to a women's shelter or senior center.
Donate them to a seniors center. Often they have sewing circles and make blankets for shutins, veterans in home care facilities, children who are long term hospital patients just to name a few.
I would donate them to the goodwill or salvation army. Then they will be bought by someone who does want them.
See if you can find a quilting group near you. I'm sure they would love to have it, too!
Check with the scouts, retirement homes, and day care or kindergartens.
Depending on how much fabric you have, maybe you could donate it to one of the local groups making joey pouches for the injured animals in Australia.

Hi Benesse. I used a whole bunch of scraps I had to make a rug. I cut them in long strips and braided three together. You can then wind them around until you get the shape you like. It was great to use them all up and I loved that I made something functional out of them.
There are crafters who usually make items for hospitals. If there is a Ladies Auxiliary attached to your local hospital, they would love to have your scraps of fabric to make quilts and other baby items.
