Looking for a WINDOWS person - Wooden Windows and Hardware needs replacing!

Suffolk, VA: Have wooden windows. We did have a WINDOWS company (actually 2) come out and give an estimate for new winows, though one came in and said "honestly, your windows are in very good shape, you don't need new windows, just caulking outside." Issue is some of the hardware needs replacing.

can you post a pic or two of what you think needs replacing? caulk and paint make sense for any exposed wood system...hardware is pretty tough.
