S. R. Letot on Sep 09, 2014Your question subtly implies that this is not a project you want to take on, and I can understand, though, as a rag rug (NOT braided!) afficionado, I have done so once or twice. So, with that in mind, I have seen these recently at Pier One, Tuesday Morning, Target (though not many that big), and Big Lots. I have seen folks take several small ones of the same color and tie them together by their end fringes and a little loop stitch along the edges to create the size they wanted. I've also found a great assortment of good quality rag rugs at great prices at mid-to-upscale thrift stores and consignment shops. And for heaven's sake, don't forget Amazon -- I bought a denim and leather one last year in your sized range, all on points from my Discover credit card (Amazon has a points card, too). Were I paying cash today for an 8x10, it'd be about $250. Look around -- you'll find one.Helpful Reply

Lavende on Sep 10, 2014A friend of ours has a giant microfiber (mop-like) one from Ikea that they love. Not sure if they still carry them but would definitely be worth a look!Helpful Reply

Sherry on Sep 15, 2014Thanks for all your suggestions. I researched all. Unfortunately, I live in a tiny town where store shopping is limited to Walmart, Kmart & Tuesday morning. Since I need this rug now, spent a rainy Sunday online shopping. No luck finding a large t-shirt or microfiber loop. Finally settled on a 10x12 leather shag. Would still like to find a 6x9 or 6x10 t-shirt rag rug for bathroom, so would welcome suggestions of where to purchase. Thanks again!Helpful Reply
