Xeroscaoping

Has anyone ever done this and what is your opinion on it. Personally, I think it's a wonderful idea but I'd like more info on it.

I have xeriscaped most of my yard and love it. You are in the right state for xeriscaping. Denver Water invented the term (I think), and they have a bunch of great resources for xeriscaping here: http://www.denverwater.org/conservation/xeriscape/ There are also some great xeric demonstration gardens around our state. IF you have specific questions, I would be happy to try and help.

I'm all in favor of plantings that rely on the water that nature provides, but it's important to remember all plants need regular watering to get established.
