You could try craft paper on a roll or one of the concrete forms called pathmate. The form is one for putting concrete in to make a path, however, if you flip it over you can use it for a stencil on old concrete. They come in a variety of patterns and can be found at most Lowes or Home Depot stores. There are a few posts on here concerning exactly that issue.

Yes Ann. I live in Debary, Fl and plan to have my front porch and walkway stenciled before doing the driveway. I'm waiting for color OK from HOA. I have stamped concrete around my pond and I've been told the stencil will look just as good and costs less.
Do you know what kind of paint and sealants will be used on the outdoor pathway and porch? I would love this idea on my front porch. It is concrete and covered but still gets wet with rain at times.
I've been told a 1/4" of concrete will be applied and then the stencil. My understanding is the color will be added to the concrete. I don't know what it will be sealed with. The guy who takes care of my deck will be doing the job so I haven't bothered with details as he always does beautiful work. Sorry I couldn't help more.
All of the deck is the same color although the pics show different colors - depends on the sun. This is stamped concrete but my vendor said my walkway will look just as good with stencil and be cheaper, too.
