Making my 4th wine corks wreath.....just put a toothpick in 1 end of cork and the stick the other end into white styrofoam wreath...add lights and Xmas ornaments..enjoy
I bought cheap frames from Goodwill, painted them in a color I use in my kitchen all the time, and hot-glued the corks inside the frame for a wonderful trivet. Works great for hot casserole dishes, etc.
I have seen a hole made in one end and a small piece of moss and a small succulent clipping and magnate. Sounds weird but the look great. I also think I saw it on pintrest
They look pretty and make a great conversation piece when you put them in clear covered glass decanters that you buy at Homegoods or TJMAX, tie with a bow of colors that go with your holiday or season. My friends also put their golf balls in them and fruits in real large ones. even seen fishing bobbers, and poker chips in them.

I have seen them sliced into little disks and set into a small frame, hot glued to the backing included with frame, and made into trivets.
