prune roses

360 Sod (Donna Dixson) on Oct 28, 2012I would only prune what is necessary for safety at this point in the season Cheryl and wait until next spring when threat of freeze has passed. If you prune hard, in a warm spell your rose may push out new tender growth, then when the cold hits it may damage the plant along with that new tender growth.Helpful Reply
