when i think of a walk in tub i think geriatrics --its for older people. i did have an occasion to use one, when the burn to the top of my foot happened. really didn't like it. check with your realtor- my 1st realtor was excellent at knowing what would stay, and what needed replacing. that house sold the 1st day on the market.Helpful Reply -

Depends on the area and the type of customers you are hoping to draw. I was told (10 years ago) for my area that many people look for at least one tub in the house so a walk in tub would help cover people with young kids as well as older people who may have some disability.Helpful Reply -

in my region - 1 traditional tub is needed for the house to sell. Consider an accessible shower, if you have two tubs / showers.Helpful Reply -
