Very time consuming, if you want to avoid damaging wall behind. You'll need a small chisel and hammer, and going slowly, angle the chisel in the grout, at edge of tile. Tap repeatedly, until you see grout start to crack. Work your way up and down length of grout line, all four sides. You'll be able to place a flat bladed spackling tool, or similar item behind the tile, little by little. Tile will eventually "lift" to facilitate removal.

I have used a five in one tool and a flat bladed spackling tool and a rubber mallet/hammer to break loose tiles. I get behind an edge and tap on tool to loosen an edge until the tile pops off.
