Lisa,
Go by the size, not the manufacturer. Take the other one off that is not broken. Bring them to a plumbing supply store (Lowe's and HD may not have the right size) and see if they can match the size. You'll have to replace both so they match. A more extreme fix is to remove the square escucheon trim, remove the cartridge, and rebuild the faucet with new cartridges, trim and handles.
Hi Lisa, take that piece you have in your hand to the store and ask a sales associate to give you 2 of them, they mount with a screw as you probably know as you have it in your hand. they aren't too expensive at all, and I found a video to guide you

Find a small plumbing store and take it into them. Our guy looked at it for 2 seconds, knew exactly what it was and where to find the replacement.
