Squeaky cabinet doors

Question

I recently painted my kitchen cabinets and put on new hinges.  They are now making an annoying squeak every time they're opened and closed.  Would appreciate any advice on how to fix this.  Thanks.

Dad used to use Vaseline on the hinges, thick and never breaks down.

This seems crazy, but it worked for us. We rubbed cocoa butter on the hinges. Put on your fingers then rub over the hinhes. No more noise.

Rubbing a candle on hinges would probably work.  Or WD-40 spray lubricant.

Spray WD-40 on cu-tips and then apply directly to the hinge. This way everything does not get a coat of the spray. Worked for me.

This happened to me when I painted my cabinet doors... the hinges are to tight.... turn the screws a half turn and it should take care of it. I found that the painted cabinets didn't need the screws tightened down so hard.

WD40 or Silicone  lubricant.  As April suggested, spray on Q- tip

A little bit of any oil on q-tip or even on a finger (if you don't mind) rub on hinges will solve your problem. All other suggestions areo.k.as well. Ruheena U.K.

Use a candle, rub de candle over de hinges and de squeek he stops Yeah!

I like Liquid Wrench Dry Lubricant (sprays on) because it doesn't leave a residue that catches dust later, like WD-40.

I used cuticle oil. It was a bathroom cabinet and the cuticle was handy

I usually don't have any WD 40 on hand so I have used pan spray
