Anyone with ideas how to add/build a cabinet around a laundry sink?

Project Style, LLC on May 04, 2012If the cost or logistics of having a cabinet build around it are prohibitive, you could "skirt" it with fabric. The outdoor fabrics come in fabulous prints and colors and are very water and soil resistant!Helpful Reply

Carolyn S on May 04, 2012I really prefer a cabinet of some sort. The fabric option isn't really an option. I was hoping there was some ready made option.Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on May 04, 2012No. you would need to have something custom made to surround the sink. Which I assume is a plastic tub with four metal legs?Helpful Reply

Burco Surface & Decor LLC. on May 04, 2012Your best bet is to just take it out and put a concrete countertop and concrete sink in its place. Theres really not too much that will stick to the plastic to camouflage it with........ Just go with a concrete sink and countertop :)Helpful Reply

Woodbridge Environmental Tiptophouse.com on May 04, 2012They make stainless deep utility sinks that can be installed in a vanity type cabinet with a laminate top. Although concrete top and sink will withstand just about anything you can throw at it, its just too heavy of a project for the DIY type person to handle.Helpful Reply

HandyANDY - Handyman & All Repairs, LLC on May 06, 2012Look for an older dresser at goodwill or thrift store with solid frame & dovetailed drawers. You can cut the drawers down on the side where you will drop in the laundry sink....and shorter the other portion of the drawers to use as storage. We've done this several times with good resultsHelpful Reply
