It can be done. My husband made a frame with
treated 2x4s then attached 2x12s with treated
screws that wouldn't rust . I do not know all the
technical details but ours looks so much better
than the ugly concrete slab. This picture shows
a small section to give you an idea of how ours
turned out.
they make post bases that can be screwed down to the concrete. that way you deck wont move.
