I am planning on having a front porch made, (6' deep by 20' wide by 8'

What size lumber should I get for the flooring? 2x4? 2x6? Etc..?

Both will work but 2 x 6 looks better. it costs more but you use less. -

If you are just asking about deck flooring, the lumber yard will have 4/4 thick 5-1/2" wide treated deck floor lumber. Traditionally this kind of structure would have 1 x 4 fir tongue and groove.https://www.lowes.com/projects/porch-deck-and-patio/build-a-deck-design-and-layout/project -

I agree with the 2X6 or better. It will provide a more stable and stronger porch. Also check what your building codes are. -
