Ideas to hide the a group of mailboxes

I'm the lucky home owner that has the neighbors 5 mailboxes along with mine. in my front lawn and they are unsightly. Also I get the advertisment bags either left until I recycle or thrown in my yard. And ideas? I don't want to spend a lot. Thanks in advance for your help.
Have you thought about building a lattice frame around the bottom and then paint it to match your landscape colors. You can't do anything to their mailboxes unless you talk to each and then maybe you could spray paint them to match
Ask your neighbors if they would be o.k. with you painting all the mailboxes to match. Add fun painted numbers or names on each door. Paint the posts a nice black to make it disappear into the landscape. You can also add a "shelf" below the mailboxes for those ever annoying ad bags. Or you could always just plant a few evergreen shrubs behind the boxes so you never have to see them.
I would put a barrier around 3 sides (open on street side). This can be lattice, brick, wood, the sky's the limit. I would see if any of the neighbors would be willing to pay for it since it includes their mailboxes, too. You could also plant low growing shrubs or perennials around them for a more natural look. Paint the mailboxes to match the flowers.

Yes crepe myrtles are a fantastic idea for the back side!
What about a Bush, a hedge or a cute picket fence.

You need to talk to your neighbors. Maybe someone is handy and can make a new mailbox holder. Matching mailboxes would look nice if everyone would buy them. If not, I would see if you could paint them. Underneath I would put some low maintenance perennial plants. As far as the advertisement flyers, maybe put a A tube or pipe under each mail box for those items
