Easy Off heavy duty oven cleaner..... Many oven cleaner labels, such as Easy Off, warn not to use it on aluminum because it will eat the aluminum. In this case, that’s exactly what you want to happen. ***** Let the oven cool completely. Carefully scrape off as much foil as possible with a razor blade. Ventilate the area. Open windows. Wear gloves and eye protection. Spray the oven cleaner on the spots. Leave the cleaner on the spots for about 20 minutes, then scrape the area clean with a putty knife or razor scraper. Repeat the process as many times as necessary to remove the foil. Wash the area to remove any remaining residue from the oven cleaner.
Hot hot water and baking soda soaks on surface for 1 hour and removed with egg flipper.
Tried that and it did not touch it....the foil has unfortunately become part of the oven. We currently have Easy Off soaking on it overnight. Thanks for the info, though!
No. We tried the self cleaning and the entire bottom cracked so we had them replace the oven since it was under warranty
