Steps to Clean the Grill:Do you want to clean outside?
We have one and I love it! Cleaning it isn't hard, you just have to be careful not to scratch it.
I do it when we are done for season. I use Dawn dish detergent, original blue and a microfiber cloth. Do the cleaning out of the sun and a cool grill.
In a large bowl of warm water mix your soap and water. Take grates off grill for seperate cleaning and remove drip pan and empty. Now wash exterior like you do dishes. Rinse rag as needed. Rinse off the grill..OUTSDIDE ONLY...eith a hose or clean rag stopping with clean water. Once all the soap is off, dry it with a clean, dry microfiber cloth.
The racks can be scrubbed with more soap and water (hotter and stronger s soap). I use my grill brush to help. Dry off.
Clean out the inside. If it's a gas grill be careful, you are just making sure food is not stuck on anything.
If c charcoal, Empty and throw away.
Put it back together and cover for winter.
I use lemon juice and foil. Spray lemon juice on the grill to soften and lossen the grime. Cover the rack with heavy duty foil. Close the grill and heat until it reaches 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Let cool and pull off the foil, throw away. Mine sparkles after this treatment.
